About Us

Uralla Neighbourhood Centre has been helping the community for close to 30 years.

Our main goal has always been to make sure no-one is left behind in our community and to catch anyone that falls through the cracks that other services can’t provide.

The centre was first located in King Street, then Hill Street before landing in our long term premises the Uralla Memorial Hall where the centre is now located in Salisbury Street.

The Uralla Neighbourhood Centre is operated by a committee of passionate community members. It is a mix of different people, backgrounds and skillsets to be able to represent the Uralla community as a whole.

The current committee is:

  • Catherine Gallaher (President)
  • Kathy Dodd (Vice President)
  • Carol Barnden (Treasurer)
  • Carol Robins (Secretary)
  • Carol Barnden (Public Officer)
  • Kathy Dodd (Publicity Officer)
  • Makaala Dodd (Youth)

The Uralla Neighbourhood Centre is operated by volunteers who manage the day to day operations, services, events and facilities.
