The Uralla Neighbourhood Centre offers a range of services to support and assist our community.

Information, Support & Referral Service

Community members can access information required dependent on situation and need, but also gain support and access referral services and additional assistance.

We can get you in touch with the right service and give you the resources you need to assist in achieving a positive outcome.

We work with a range of other services directly to offer a safe confidential space.

Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry provides provides access to low cost pantry food, bread, vegetables and fruit for anyone on a Centrelink benefit.

The food pantry is open Mondays from 10:00am to 2:00pm (excluding public holidays).

1 bag of groceries: $15; 2 bag of groceries: $30; 4 bags of groceries: $50.

Bring your material supermarket bags and fill (or buy $1/bag at the pantry).

To utilise the food pantry, please complete a membership form and return to us.

Wellness & Hygiene Facilities

Community members are welcome to use our shower and laundry facilities where needed.

We have a fully self contained bathroom aswell as washing machine and clothes dryer available for community use.

Emergency Food Relief

We have food relief boxes available to those in need.

These boxes are Food Bank items which contain staples and essential items to assist, where needed.

Uralla Garden Project

We fund the Uralla Garden Project is set up as a learning centre and community hub to experiment and demonstrate alternative gardening/farming methods that can be assimilated to any other situation. The focus will be on creating holistic eco-systems and an emphasis on giving rather then taking.

Escape Bags

Escabags is an Australian Registered Charity who distribute free Escape Bags for families and individuals escaping domestic or family abuse.


The bags are all handmade and have unique and beautiful items to assist those fleeing a domestic violence relationships.

These bags are readily available at the centre.
